National Disability Support

Access to work

Having a disability shouldn’t stop you getting a job or setting up your own business.

The Government, through its Access to Work programme, offers grant aid, plus practical help and advice to disabled people.

For example, you could get support to pay for a communicator if you are deaf, or specialist equipment or alterations to premises to help you
overcome your disability. Other support is also on offer.
